The “disparities” as you put them came to the forefront on the coattails of trumpet. He of the massive tax cuts to the already rich; he of the humongous amounts to the military they didn’t ask for; he of the money taken from school lunch programs, medical for children with awful diseases, taking from CDC that was budgeted to take care responses to pandemics; money that was taken from ordinary Americans to pay for his 200+ days golfing at millions of dollars per day; and on and on and on.
Of course, he had help: the lobbyists; the hangers-on; the House Republicans (the first two years); the Senate Republicans (all four years); ordinary Republicans that lost their voice to stand up to bullies and fight for the “normal” agenda of the Republican party.
Of course, the Republican Party doesn’t exist anymore. Now it is just a bunch of old white men and their wives living with rose-colored glasses.
Well, they have all lost all the creditability for many, many years to come. They can go back to catcalling the Democrats as we did them out of the hole again.
I only hope that the tax cuts and other wasted money is clawed back.
Of course, all of this could be moot. The Republicrooks might live on in which case we really have lost the grand experiment.
