Woke, to be Sure

What the hell is ‘woke’?

Is it a measure of time? I woke up too late to rip the GOP in the late edition.

Is it a derogatory term for Republicans? I woke those Republican criminals! Or, when a Republican opens his mouth, you know he’s woking?

Perhaps it is a place of eternal peace? After the sermon, Mr. Republican convicted of his sins against the Democrats felt eternal damnation. He struggled home, lay on the couch, and woke.

I’m sure the hairy Republican is not a wokey, because a real wokie would be crushed at the comparison.
